The story
What changes once it’s connected.
The margin questions are the ones that never get asked, because answering them means the Pax8 portal, an export, and a spreadsheet nobody wants to own. What is this client actually subscribed to. How many seats are we paying for versus how many we billed. What landed on this month's invoice that wasn't on last month's. Connect Pax8 here and those answers come back in plain English, joined to the client you asked about.
The coverage follows the shape of the distributor relationship: companies and their contacts as Pax8 bills them; subscriptions with quantity, billing term, and the change history that explains seat drift; usage summaries and daily lines for consumption products like Azure; the product catalog with partner cost and suggested retail side by side; invoices, their line items, and the draft charges accruing toward the next bill; and the orders and quotes that show how a subscription came to exist in the first place.
None of it writes. The Pax8 client exposes a single GET method and the tool registry can only express a read scope, so the boundary is structural rather than a permission someone could widen. It cannot place or cancel an order, change a seat count, create or edit a quote, or touch an invoice — reading a bill is not the same as paying one, and nothing here can pay, dispute, or adjust anything.
