How the board fits together
PSA, RMM and the rest of the stack

What is PSA and RMM?
PSA is professional services automation: the system an MSP runs the business from, with tickets, agreements, time and billing. ConnectWise PSA is the one on this board. RMM is remote monitoring and management: the tooling that watches, patches and reports on client endpoints, such as NinjaOne, ConnectWise Automate and ConnectWise RMM on the Asio platform. Most MSPs run one of each, alongside documentation, backup, security and Microsoft 365.
What is a PSA integration?
Usually it means two systems passing data to each other, such as an RMM alert opening a ticket. Here it means reading. Connect ConnectWise PSA and a session answers questions about tickets, agreements, invoices and time entries next to what your RMM, Microsoft 365 and billing systems hold. It is read-only today, and every answer is traced to the tool call behind it.
