Each platform on the board is an MCP server MSPStuff hosts — the standard way to hand an AI model real tools. Its AI skills teach the model what that platform's data means to an MSP: what a stale agent looks like, which patch states matter, where the audit trail lives.
When you ask a question, Switchboard uses those servers and answers with figures traced to the actual tool calls behind them — you can audit every number back to the API response it came from.
Credentials stay yours, scoped by you. Nothing installs on an endpoint, and any change a platform could make is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches the platform — until a person switches it on. Nothing is switched on today.

How is this different from a chatbot or connecting my tools to ChatGPT?
Switchboard brings an engineered system for MSP work: platform-specific skills, vetted playbooks and enforced access controls. We build the integrations, test their behavior and permission boundaries, and check playbook instructions against the tools and data available. Skills handle specific jobs; playbooks guide the investigation, cross-checks and limits of what can be concluded. You can inspect the tool calls behind an answer. Your admin controls who can reach each system, credentials stay server-side, and Switchboard sessions run in isolated environments. Access is read-only today. Any change a platform could make is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches the platform — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today. Your preferred AI client can be your interface to this controlled access; your chosen client’s own data-handling terms still apply.

Do I need a separate AI account to use these?
No. Use Switchboard from your browser without bringing a separate AI account. Or connect a supported client you already use, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, Claude, Copilot or Cursor, to the same read-only platform tools, plus running and creating reports if the role allows, scoped by your admin.
Is there an MCP server for my platform?
Yes. Every live platform on the board is an MCP server MSPStuff hosts and operates, and your team can connect your own AI to all of them through one endpoint. Every figure in an answer is traced to the real tool call that produced it.
Can I see the full skill list before connecting anything?
Yes — that's the point of the board below. Every platform page lists each skill in plain English — what it reads — alongside the playbooks it has been taught, plus an equally plain statement of what the integration cannot do.
What is an MCP server?
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the open standard AI assistants use to call tools. An MCP server exposes a system's data as tools an AI can call with your permission. MSPStuff hosts one per platform, read-only by default, and every answer a session gives is traced to the tool call behind it.
How do I connect my own AI?
Open Connect your AI in Switchboard, choose your supported client and follow its setup instructions. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Cursor reach the same MSPStuff endpoint, with access controlled by your admin.
What data can my AI access through the MSPStuff connector?
Only what your admin scoped for you, per person and per domain — the same read-only platform tools a Switchboard session uses, plus running and creating reports if the role allows, nothing else. Every answer is traced to the real tool call that produced it.
Who builds and operates these skills?
MSPStuff builds and operates the skills and MCP servers. They work with supported AI clients through MCP; they are independent MSPStuff products.
Will agent skills replace MCP?
No, they do different jobs. Anthropic's help center puts it this way: MCP connections give the AI access to tools, while skills teach it how to use those tools well, and you can use both together. The skills on this page work the same way: they run on MSPStuff-hosted MCP servers, which supply the live, scoped access to your platforms.
Are agent skills an open standard?
Yes. The Agent Skills format was first developed by Anthropic and released as an open standard: a skill is a folder holding a SKILL.md file of instructions and metadata, and a growing number of agent products read it. The MSP skills here are reached through MCP rather than that file format, so any supported AI client can use them through one MSPStuff endpoint.
