Ninety MCP server and AI skills

Your EOS operating system — rocks, issues, to-dos and the scorecard, answerable in plain English.

Ninety is where an EOS-run MSP keeps score of itself: the rocks each leader committed to this quarter, the issues list nobody’s gotten to yet, the to-dos out of last week’s Level 10, and the scorecard that’s supposed to catch a slipping number before it becomes a client-facing problem. All of that is real, current, and normally behind a login only the leadership team bothers to open. Connect it here and a session reads the whole operating system at once — which rocks are off track and who owns them, what’s overdue on whose to-do list, which measurables missed goal last week. Switchboard connects through an MSPStuff-hosted MCP server, so there’s nothing to install and no API keys to hand your techs. Read-only today. No credential we issue carries a write scope. Any change the integration could make in Ninety is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches Ninety — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today.

The story

What changes once it’s connected.

Hosted and external AI connections provide read-only access. Guidance, shared playbooks and automations we release for everyone are included with Dedicated. Bespoke automation builds are scoped separately. Any change a platform could make is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches the platform — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today. Vendor consent does not switch any change on.

The honest failure mode of EOS tooling isn’t that the system is wrong — it’s that checking it is a chore, so it gets checked once a week instead of when it actually matters. A session connected to Ninety collapses that chore into a question: which rocks are behind, what’s stuck on the issues list, whose to-do list is piling up, and whether last week’s number everyone’s worried about actually missed goal or just looked close. Answers come with the age of what they read, so you know whether to go and look at something newer.

The coverage follows the EOS shape itself: the teams and who sits on each one, rocks with their milestones, the issues list per team, to-dos by owner or by team, the scorecard’s measurables and weekly scores, and what’s on the agenda for the next Level 10. A missed score and a blank score are not the same thing, and the answers keep them apart — a week nobody entered is a gap in the record, not a team missing its number.

Visibility rides the Personal Access Token itself: it acts as whoever generated it, with that person’s actual in-app role and team memberships, so a session can’t see more than the token’s owner could looking at Ninety directly. Read-only today. No credential we issue carries a write scope. Any change the integration could make in Ninety is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches Ninety — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today.

Things you can ask

Ask it like you’d ask a teammate.

>Which rocks are off track and who owns them?
>Which milestones are overdue?
>What is overdue on the leadership team’s to-do list?
>Which unresolved issues have been waiting longest?
>Which measurables missed their goal?
>What should we cover at the next Level 10?
>How does follow-through compare across teams?

Read-only today. No credential we issue carries a write scope. Any change the integration could make in Ninety is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches Ninety — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today. The credential is a Personal Access Token you generate in Ninety, and it acts as the person who generated it — that person’s own in-app role and team memberships, nothing more — so everything a session sees is exactly what its owner could see in Ninety, and every read is attributed to them. Revoke it in Ninety to disconnect access. Your data remains yours; we host and operate the server and software, and store the connection credential encrypted on our servers.

How it has been taught to work it

Playbooks are the vetted techniques a session loads for this platform — what to check, in what order, and what a number means before it is reported.

  • Company health check — cross-team leaderboard, issue aging, milestone rollup"How are we doing company-wide", "who's behind across the whole company", a leadership pre-read spanning every team, "how stale is the issues list", "what milestones are we missing" asked at company scope rather than about one team.
    Vetted Sep 2, 2026
  • L10 prep — a one-page pre-read for the Weekly"Prep me for [team]'s next Weekly/L10", meeting pre-read, "what should we cover in the meeting", getting a team ready for its Level 10.

Connecting

Wire it in, in an afternoon.

How to connect

  1. 01In Ninety, open User Settings → Developer Settings and generate a Personal Access Token.
  2. 02Connect the account whose visibility you want sessions to have. We validate the connection before saving it.
  3. 03Revoke the token in Ninety to disconnect access.

Common questions

Asked before you had to ask.

Does Ninety have an API or MCP server?

Ninety publishes a Public API and its own Ninety MCP connector, which works with your Rocks, Issues, To-Dos and Scorecard in plain language. MSPStuff hosts a separate Ninety MCP server that is read-only today: it sees what the person whose token you connect can see, and every answer is traced to the reads behind it.

Does this use the Ninety API?

Yes. We operate the connection through Ninety’s API using the account you connect and its visibility.

Is there a Ninety connector for my AI?

Yes. Your seat can connect supported clients such as ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot through the MSPStuff endpoint with access controlled by your admin.

Is there an AI skill for Ninety?

Yes. Connect Ninety once and ask about quarterly priorities, follow-through and weekly scores in plain English.

Is there a Ninety MCP server?

Yes. We host and operate the connection for you. Your data remains yours and your admin controls access.

Can it change anything in Ninety?

Read-only today. No credential we issue carries a write scope. Any change the integration could make in Ninety is held back — refused by our server before anything reaches Ninety — until a person switches it on, and nothing is switched on today. The connected Ninety account determines visibility, so a session sees what the token’s owner sees — and nothing in this surface deletes anything.

How current are the answers?

Company reviews can use the scheduled mirror. Answers should state the observation time and request current detail when the mirror cannot answer.
